Jim Snee sent us this picture of
his latest project a card loco in Gnine:
This particular model was inspired
by a photgraph of "Pioneer". A locomotive from a Tin
Mine near Lavant close to Lands End in Cornwall. From all accounts
it wasn't a very sucessful design. But the prototype had a certain
charm to it. So Jim set to and built this model from the one
known photograph in existence. The model will run on a KATO 4
wheel chassis.We at Gnine.info really like this model and can
see something similar appearing on a few layouts around here.

Very little
is known about the actual protoype itself. It is thought that
it was originally an 18" gauge loco. So it would make a
very nice model for all you Gn15 modellers out there. |
